Custom designs take several weeks to produce and depend on the complexity of the design and particularities of the project. M&V recommends designers to start the quoting process well before planning on starting production of a piece.

Because custom orders not only require time, but they also demand a special creativity and talent, a custom item may be much more expensive than a similar item from the website.

M&V’s custom order process starts with a quote of your piece. The more information you provide, the easier it is for us to make what you want. The more accurately you can communicate with us about not only measurement, finish, quality and particularities of your design, but also what you expect from the project, such as: estimated number of pieces to be produced and budget, the better more accurate our quote will be. Our quoting fee starts at $150.

After quoting your piece, the model-making process begins. A model of your design will be created from the information and sample materials you provide. These may include, but are not limited to images, measurements and sample jewelry pieces in silver or other metals. Creating the model will be charged at cost. .At this point, you’ll be able to see what your design would look like in sterling silver. Would you want to carry on with your project, terms of contract would be negotiated between the parts.

Terms of payment for actual manufacturing project: 50% before starting manufacturing process. This is done so that the amount of material needed for the project is ensured by the time manufacturing begins. The reminder 50% should be paid by the completion of project.
